Construction Labor Services, Inc. (CLS) was incorporated on January 20th, 1984,
in the State of Michigan by Marie L. Stech. Ms. Stech holds the position of
General Manager and President, and is also on the Board of Directors.
CLS serves a unique niche in the Construction Industry. CLS leases union construction
tradespersons to contractors for a fee. CLS assumes the typical responsibilities and
administrative burdens of the typical employer-employee relationship.
In 1985, CLS was certified as a Woman Owned Business by the State of Michigan.
In 1986, Micki was hired as office manager, and still holds this position.
In 1987, Pam was hired for clerical support, and is now the Payroll Clerk.
CLS employs field construction workers in trades such as carpenters, laborers,
bricklayers, cement finishers, ironworkers, painters, etc.
CLS provides services to a variety of clients, including General Contractors and
Specialty Subcontractors.
CLS provides services in the state of Michigan, as well as Illinois, Indiana, Ohio
and Pennsylvania.
